Silver Falls S.P. Oregon

Category: Nature

Located in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Oregon is Silver Falls State Park, a 9,000-acre amalgamation of dense forests, crystal-clear waterfalls and historic buildings. The “Trail of Ten” falls captivates hikers and photographers alike, each of the falls leading into a canyon above a 100-foot waterfall.

Silver Falls formed about 26 million years ago during the Oligocene period, during which most of Oregon was submerged by ocean.
